A stylish and reasonably priced surge arrestor, the Mimosa Gigabit Network Interface Device (NID) is a network interface device. It is intended to be mounted on an external wall and offers outdoor technician access, ESD protection from electrostatic discharge, and a grounding point for any system that needs Ethernet wiring. A secure fastening tie point and a foam cable entrance seal are features of the dust- and water-resistant design.
